Estate Sale Essentials - Liquidation of Estate

Liquidation of Family/Estate Belongings

An Estate Sale is a way of liquidating the belongings of a family or an Estate. Typically, it's a Sale conducted inside the home with additional items for Sale in the garage, shed and/or patio area. Even vehicles, motorcycles & boats are sold.

Estate Sales (Liquidation of Estate, Tag Sales) are used when someone is in need of a way to sell items due to downsizing, moving, divorce, financial hardship, death and/or the closing of a home. The public is invited into the home and given the opportunity to purchase any item that is priced for sale. At times there are items that are not for sale because the family has decided to keep them or new owners of the house have made them part of the contract to buy the house.  These items are clearly marked.  Most items kept are removed from the home or are all kept in a sealed-off room.

It's a wonderful way for Sellers to make money and for Buyers to purchase items that are reasonably priced!
