Estate Sale Essentials - Liquidation of Estate & Buyer Etiquette

Liquidation of Family/Estate Belongings

An Estate Sale is a way of liquidating the belongings of a family or an Estate. Typically, it's a Sale conducted inside the home with additional items for Sale in the garage, shed and/or patio area. Even vehicles, motorcycles & boats are sold.

Estate Sales (Liquidation of Estate, Tag Sales) are used when someone is in need of a way to sell items due to a transition to Assisted Living, downsizing, moving/relocating, divorce, financial hardship, death and/or the closing of a home. The public is invited into the home and given the opportunity to purchase any item that is priced for sale. At times there are large items that are not for sale .  These are clearly marked not for sale (Appliances, Furniture, etc.)

It's a wonderful way for Sellers to make money and for Buyers to purchase items that are reasonably priced!
